Just because I love the process being referenced, and learned recently I was using it a bit too generally: Carcinization is referring specifically to a phenomenon among Arthropods. Other Phylums are less likely to find the same convergence of body plans.

Excellent job! Very much like the angle and composition, it has a pretty visceral feeling to it. also like the shading, and the filter that kind of radiates outward from the center. Very cool!

I like the colors, but it's a bit hard to tell what I'm looking at. Not sure if busy is the right word. Took me too long to realize there was a face looking the other way.

Very accurate. Nice work. You don't need gore for this sort of thing- if anything, the fact that he's able to pull it back like that may indicate it happens regularly :/
Anyway, maybe if you just made the underside of the skin red, it would bring it all together really nice on that front.

Nice piece

Illusion of dimension is very good. The one thing that seemed a bit off to me was a part of the mouth, but it is an excellent piece with great detail. Nice job :)

One thing bugging me, though. I think that the sides are supposed to cross against each other, because otherwise it becomes really difficult to use an effective slash attack. Nice look and design, though

if you look closely the blade is actually perfectly concentric from twist. its actually flat entirely! theres no part of the sword that doesn't touch.

Here is another one that makes me glad I put you on my favorite artists list. This is excellent. The character designs are pretty cool.

Maybe for names, you could use Garragordo for the crab dude. It's "fat claw" in spanish- don't ask me why, but it sounds pretty cool. And for the girl, how about Namiche (accent over the e) for the girl (that I pulled from nowhere).
