Could use more variety

Also, the feeling invoked doesn't really fit the title. Maybe it could be tour of some previously unknown place?

Pretty good.

Has a decent feel behind it, but maybe too many instruments are doing the melody. could divert some to doing accompaniment. Sound choices aren't bad.

Nice feel.

I got a sort of intense, but steady vibe from this song. I rather enjoyed it. Liked the sound choices as well, made a dark tone that wasn't of any particular good/evil aura, and pretty cool. Keep up the good work.

Hehe... like pumped up tune...

I really liked this. Nice feel, good power, and crazy (though steady) beat. keep up the good work.

I'm not sure if these count as "punny"

interesting skit. Lots of puns, or half-puns, whatever you would call them. The voices were different enough to be distinct, so good job on that front. The jokes were pretty good, but you should probably only go for so long with puns- they get tiresome after a while (in general, nothing against you). Anyway, nice job, keep up the good work, and good luck judging the contest.

Thanks a lot for the honest review! The main joke of this dragged on for so long, that the joke was that the guy was just being annoyed the hell out of by this merchant. That music in the background starts to get on my nerves lol xD

Funky sound choices

If you can't get a vocalist to do this, a better sound for the vocal melody line might have been a great improvement. The backup sounds great from what I can hear, but the main line takes away from that and makes it harder to enjoy.
Also, one thing people sometimes forget about the Beatles is that they have some sweet harmonies in the vocals, so that would have been good. If you could tone down the main line some that would be good too- it's a little loud and piercing.

Overall, sounds decent, but not great.

yeah, I was working with terrible software with a very limited instrument selection. but thanks for the review! I'll keep this in mind for the future.

wish mine could have been this good...

I just submitted my entry to the contest, and after hearing this, I am now mildly jealous. I should have given my characters more variety... Oh well. Nice job, dude, and good luck in the contest. You deserve it :)

Very pleasant to listen to.

I really enjoyed this. Is a very relaxing piece with a sweet feel to it, and a sensation of walking through a mysterious, peaceful forest. It sounds great. It's pretty cool you came up with this from a cell phone ring tone- i think everyone does that at some point, and you made a prime example of how good a personal, extended version can sound.

YanX responds:

Thanks for the comments guys. Before i made this one i tried to find the real extended version but there wasn't.looks like it doesn't exist lol.^^

Menu select music of some kind

Sounds like this would be some kind of level select music. Sounds alright, but not too fascinating that you would take much time to make a decision.

Sounds sort of empty and dry...

Not bad, but one of the reasons why the original version was pretty good was that it sounded huge and epic. Maybe if you had more bass that would help, but the remix stuff sounds like it could stand on it's own pretty well, and be better without the lyrics.

I have widely varying tendencies.
